Blogging the Bach 15.3

Who’s watching: Monday night tradish was on pause tonight due to Memorial Day. I joined Bonnie and her crowd tonight.

Group date #1

My computer was updating forever so I missed the names of the guys on the date. I’m still trying to figure out who everyone is so I definitely didn’t know who all was there. 

The first half of the date was teaching the guys the pains of being a woman pregnant, in labor, breastfeeding, changing diapers, and comforting crying babies. The guys were good sports and it was pretty hilarious. Everyone here was laughing so hard at the labor simulation. 

They left the baby biz for a cocktail party. Jed grabs Hannah first and they throw chicken nuggets over the balcony to make a wish. Mike opens up about a past relationship. Cam attempts to interrupt 3 times. Was that his idea? Or did the producers keep sending him in? I CANNOT BELIEVE I PICKED CAM. I could not have made a worse choice. Also, why is he wearing a hoodie with his shirt? Cam gets interrupted and the drama is in full force. Meanwhile John Paul Jones is in the corner eating chicken nuggets and we’re loving it. Her conversation with Tyler is so awkward but she seems to love it. Mike gets the rose for being bold. Maybe encouraging the guys to be bold is not working out for all of them (ahem Cam)

Date #2-Connor S 

We see Hannah in a hospital bed while Connor is waiting for his date. He gets a note from Hannah saying she isn’t feeling great and he should come over. He bought flowers and soup and went to Hannah’s hotel. She is feeling better but they are going to stay there. Connor opens up about an experience he had when he was younger. His mom had a stroke while their family was skiing. He leaves notes all over so she can remember him, and she loves that. She brings him back for the rose and a private concert. 

Date #3-Group Date
Before the date, we find out Tyler G had to leave. They don't say anything else but apparently he was abusive to past girlfriends.
The date is a photo shoot..with other ladies..animals. Demi is there to see what the guys are doing when Hannah isn't around. They listen in on what the guys are saying. No one really says anything shady. They start the photo shoot, and the guys are pretty cute. Luke P is not even a little happy about her pictures with Peter. He insists on more pictures so he can have a little more time. He starts the cocktail party with her by saying that the other guys don't have what it takes. Hannah calls him out and tells him his confidence/cockiness bothers her. She tells him she wants that to change. She ends the conversation and Luke does not agree with any of it. He attempts to interrupt a couple of times, and she doesn't let him. "This guy wants to sink his own ship, and I am not going to get in his way." That is most definitely what is happening. Luke is about to lose his mind. Hannah tells his she is calling the shots and wants to talk to everyone before she talks to him again. She has a good amount of time with Peter, and he gets the rose. I really wish I would have picked him as my bracket winner. Before she gives the rose, she has a final talking to with Luke.

Tailgate party/Rose ceremony
Cam tells the guys he needs to talk to Hannah first because he has something he needs to tell her. He tries to tell a sad story, and no one is really buying it especially Mike. He tells Hannah what Cam did before the party, and she is not very happy. She talks to Cam and calls him out on it. She tells all the guys she won't be giving any pity roses.
Peter, Mike, and Connor S have roses. Jed, Tyler, Dustin, Dylan, Grant, Luke P, Garrett, John Paul Jones, Matteo, Devin, Luke S, Kevin get roses. Cam is gone. I thought he would be there for at least one more week. My bracket is officially busted. I am pretty sure all our brackets are busted. It will be interesting to see who actually wins. 

Blogging the bach 13.4 or 5 or something

We had one last Monday night tradish at Celsey and Shawn's last night. We had the bach playing, but we weren't exactly watching it. We were packing and organizing all night long to help them with their move. I spent most of the night in the pantry so I definitely missed almost all of the show.

Basically I am as lost as I have been all season. I don't know if it's the season or what, but we're having a hard time getting into this season.

blogging the bach 21.the season is almost over

who's watching-celsey, shawn(if we're lucky), alicia, amanda, and megan

we all forgot we haven't seen the rose ceremony yet. we also forgot that andi came to the door at the end of last week. nick isn't going to get engaged just because he's the bachelor. somehow i don't really believe him. we have no idea what she is doing there other than to give him permission to enjoy the fantasy suites.

we finally (part of that might have been our fault for too much chatting) get to the rose ceremony. what? he keeps rachel? corrine needs to get home and prepped for paradise.

they fly to finland and the overnight dates start. raven gets the first date. at that point i got up to peel hard boiled eggs. you know things are bad when i'm peeling eggs instead of watching the show. i like raven just fine, but in the words of megan nick looks like he would rather be eating a cheeseburger than listening to raven. the show ends before their date is all the way over.

next week is 3 hours??? is this a joke? we like the show, but 3 hours is completely absurd.

 

blogging the bach 21.3

we all got together last week for monday night tradish, but we didn't really watch. the tv was on, but i honestly did not watch one single second. i had good intentions to try and catch up a little, but it never happened.

who's watching-celsey, amanda, alicia, megan

this week starts with nick informing the girls of his past with liz who is now gone. the girls seem fine and they move on with the cocktail party. we see more black boxes in the first 5 minutes than we saw all summer on paradise.

who gets a rose-corrine(but she's missing), astrid, taylor, christina, danielle, rachel, vanessa, raven, jaimi, dominique, sarah, alexis, brittany, justine, josephine

group date with the backstreet boys. we're all freaking out wishing we were on this date. danielle gets a little one on one time on stage in front of the whole audience with all the girls watching from the side. she has more time at night and gets the group date rose. she's in my top 4 at least for now.

vanessa gets the one on one. they do zero gravity, have a lot of fun, and then vanessa gets sick. it's sad that she gets sick, but this is the most real thing we've seen so far. i like this side of nick. vanessa gets the rose and nick gets emotional/

the track and field group date starts. everyone including astrid wonders why she didn't wear a better bra. it doesn't seem to matter and she gets the extra hot tub time. dominique freaks out and and nick sends her home.

nick cancels the cocktail party and has a pool party instead. the girls start getting upset about corrine and several tattle tail. vanessa calls out nick, and he is caught completely off guard. the show ends. do they not know we all hate a cliffhanger ending?!?

we've had a nice long bachelor break, and now wer're back for nick as the bachelor. i'll be honest. i am not totally thrilled for this season, but i'm hoping to be pleasantly surprised.

my regular monday night crew is sick tonight so the format will be a little different this week.

per usual, we start with an intro to nick followed by advice by his bachelor bros.

nick gets dating advice from a 12 year old. she actually has some smart things to say. hopefully he listens to her.

nick is afraid he might be rejected at the end. i wonder what gives him that idea. he's in control this time so things should go much better for him. and if not, he should probably get as far away from bachelor land as possible.

blogging the bach..in paradise..the final week

i have a confession...

i read the spoilers (insert monkey covering eyes and/or mouth emoji).

actually i accidentally saw the spoilers the very first week. someone posted them in a private facebook group. maybe that explains my lack of interest this season. either way, i know what happens on the last episode so this is my last post on paradise. although i am not sold on the idea of nick as bachelor, i'm hoping the girls bring enough to the table to get me excited about this show again.

opening thoughts..

who are half of these people?

all of the guys are pretty wifed up so i'm not sure who tiera thinks she's going to get to go on a date with her.

nick and jen go on a date. we already know he is the bachelor so we also know that means this goes no where. they seem cute together so i'm kind of sad they don't work.

izzy is a mess realizing she should have stayed with vinny. she hopes things can still work with him. ummm...i'm not sure how well that will go. good luck with that izzy. the poor girl is getting dumped by 2 guys in the same hour. things aren't good.

3 ladies are going home. it kind of seems like they should all go home. none of these people have even spoken to each other. jamie and ashley want wells. wells wants sushana. the chicken enthusiast should probably just save herself and leave now.

how did evan and carly go from that was the worst kiss ever to i'm so giddy thinking about you?

chris harrison says the dream is walking out of there as an engaged couple. i don't know anyone whose dream is actually to get engaged after 18 days. that seems more like a nightmare to me.

grant and lace get matching tattoos of the combo of their name. what??? lace freaks out about the pain. doesn't she already have other tattoos?

there is really nothing that can be said about carly and evan's date. what kind of self-respecting man wears tighty whities?

all the couples have some semi-serious conversations before ending up in the fantasy suite. it appears as though several couples get engaged. do we know if any of them are still engaged?

Blogging the Bach..in Paradise..week 4

we got a late start tonight. we spent  a lot of time chatting and took forever to get going

i had to step away for a few minutes and missed the rest of the cocktail party

ashley i comes back and asks for another chance. for some weird reason they let her. a few new guys arrive. we have no idea who they are.

double date on the booze cruise. no one can remember carl's name. caila is so out of place. they come home, and caila is back into jared again. ashley is a bawling mess again.

ryan shows up. not one single soul has a clue who he is. he goes on a date. everyone is back at the house. grant and lace are in love. vinny and izzy are on the fritz.izzy has moved on. vinny has not.

confession(s)

1.i haven't watched men tell all. i heard it was basically the chad show. i'm not interested in that in the slightest. since abc pulled a fast one on us and aired 2 nights in a row, i was busy the night it aired. at this point, chances are pretty slim that i will actually watch.

2. i haven't watched the finale or after the final rose. i was flying home from seattle, and i haven't had a chance to catch up. to be honest, this season hasn't been exciting enough for me to even care to watch. i got all the info, and i'm basically ready to move on to paradise.

since i haven't seen it yet, i have a friend here to give a recap on the finale. she's been recapping for me most of the season, and her recaps make me laugh every single time.

Now, I haven't watched in weeks because the show wasn't worth staying up past my bedtime for especially once James Taylor got sent home (still love him sorry Aubs) **my edit-i still can't stand him.
But as a true bachelor fan, I sacrificed and watched the finale.
The episode starts with Jordan meeting JoJo's family. I am secretly on the edge of my seat hoping JoJo's brothers will be AHOLES again and that her mom will be drinking from the bottle but i was extremely disappointed. My first though is I bet JoJo's mom was really pretty at some point and has a banging body. Also why doesn't JoJo's sister get any love? Jordan makes everyone wear silly hats and then it's time for him to sit down and talk to JoJo's mom.
Now as cray as her mom looks, she is DEAD ON with Jordan. She is like I'm sick of jerks breaking my daughter's heart, so what are you going to do about it? She makes a lot of great points about how him and JoJo are both very likeable and have similar personalities. Mom is basically waving the red flag saying he's like all of your ex's combined into a mega heartbreak but she can't say that outrgith because then JoJo will for sure pick him to rebel.
Then the fake and stupid drama for the night is about how Jordan doesn't ask JoJo's dad for her hand in marriage.
Now it's time to meet good ole, salmon v-neck loving Robby. I think Robby is a babe and he is laying on the charm THICK for the potential in laws. He keeps saying he is googoo and gaagaa over JoJo and he will make her the #1 priority in his life and her mom calls her a princess and Robby is like she will be my queen. These guys are sweet and all but I've had more genuine love in my heart for a donut than either of these guys have for JoJo.
It's obvious that JoJo's family loves Robby and they are like see ya never Jordan. But JoJo clearly favors Jordan as she has all season. So as the family fawns over Robby, JoJo asks about Jordan. Her cute brother calls her out about always defending him and then her dad drombs the bomb that Jordan didn't ask for her hand in marriage but Robby asked for permission from her mom AND dad. JoJo has a melt down about loving both of the guys and not knowing what to do but really she is crying because she has wanted to pick Jordan all along and he majorly screwed the pooch with her family.
Now it's time for the final 1:1 dates. Robby is up first, for a beach date. They make out in the ocean, on land, and the Robby gives this weird where will we be in 5 years monologue which includes burning dinner which Becca pointed out on twitter is NOT ACCEPTABLE and i totally agree with her.
The best part is JoJo says "Ma! The meatloaf"
Then they go back to the hotel, they talk, it's all boring and the night ends.
Next up is the final date with Jordan. They are on a boat and she is like ahhh I wanna make out with you but i'm supposed to be mad at you for not asking for my fathers permission to marry me which Jordan surprisingly has a good answer for.
He says I know how I feel about you and yes I want to prompose, but I don't know what you are doing to do and I didn't want to ask your family for permission without being certain/knowing your feelings.
As a typical girl, she just still won't let it go and Jordan stands firm in his reasoning and I think he's totally legit and like the rest of this season they just keep beating the poor dead horse with this because everything is a snoozefest.
Here comes Neil Lane with the bling bling...Lauren B got the best ring in the history of the bachelor and these rings are a big thumbs down. Jordan even asks if there were any other options. HAHAHA.
Not surprisingly Jordan uses a producers phone to call JoJo's parents as he gets ready for the rose ceremony to ask for their blessing. They give it to him becayuse they know JOJo wants to pick him and they don't want to upset her but they really wish she was picking Robby (okay they don't say any of that but we all know that's what they are thinking.)
Robby gets out of the car first----it's not even a limo.
We all know this sin't good....he walks down to her and you can see on her face this isn't going to end well but Robby is blinded by his love for her and says a million sweet things to her and right as he is about to get into his lunge position she is like oh wait I can't take this moment away from you.
He is crushed and I'm sitting here yelling at the tv like WHYYYYY on earth did you let him say all that just to rip his heart out and stomp on it. No cool JoJo. you should know better after last season.
Robby keep it together and says nothing by nice things to her and wants her to be happy. Class act. And he is probably thinking his ex will be waiting for him at home but Chad has already swooped in.
JoJo is a hot, crying mess. Like STOP IT. You're annoying. I'm bored. We all know this won't last. Let's just skip to Bachelor in Paradise.
Jordan gets there. She suddenly has perfect makeup again and a huge smile and he proposes...shocker. They are overjoyed and so in love and can't wait to spend their lives together...YAWNNN.

thanks friend! i didn't really have it in my to watch all those hours. i'm happy this season is over.

is anyone else having a hard time getting into this season? i don't exactly know what the deal is, but i am struggling. i really like jojo, and there are some decent guys. i still am not totally sure who is who and what is going on.

this season of the bachelorette is so weird for me. 2 episodes in one week and then a week off plus i feel like i have missed so much this season already. i have pretty much missed half of the show so far. i texted a friend that i am so lost. her response "she likes jordan. she's trying to send chad home, but he is still around for some unknown reason. that's literally all that's happened all season."

monday night tradish is on hold this week due to work and concerts and sickness,etc.

blogging the bach 11.2 AKA becky's birthday party

monday night tradish was on holiday pause this week with everyone traveling back from memorial weekend trips. we decided to watch on our own and pick up next week. 

i can't exactly say i watched or even tell you one single thing that happened, but the show was on in the background of becky's birthday party. we have plans to celebrate next weekend, but we couldn't miss celebrating on the actual day. 

michelle invited all the local money talks girls to come watch and celebrate. we had a fun crowd. i definitely did much more chatting and laughing than actual watching. 

the pictures make it look like some people actually watched. i have no idea if they did or not. i'm so serious when i say i have no idea what happened. all i know is we had a really fun time celebrating becky. who watched this week? fill me in.

i'm so excited to be in california, but i'm a little disappointed to be missing the finale with my regular crew.

who's watching:my mom has been watching the season, but she informed me earlier today she is only planning to watch the last 15 minutes or so. clearly she isn't as die hard as i am. watching on my own is much much less entertaining and fun than watching with my monday night crew. needless to say, i miss those people tonight.

since i'm not watching with my people, the format this week is completely different. we'll have a little recap+commentary. the word tally and tear tally aren't happening. i'm a little in and out. i've already heard amazing and love about 10 times each so i'm a little sad i'm not counting.

MEET THE PARENTS
ben tells his parents lauren has been waiting to meet them since their first date. (i forgot about that funny, awkward comment). i actually did meet one of my boyfriends' family on our first date. that's another awkward story for another day.

lauren asks ben's mom for advice for being with ben. smart move lauren.

lauren says she would marry ben tomorrow. according to chris harrison's intro it sounds like that's a very real possibility. but seriously, are they really having a wedding on after the final rose???

jojo is so nervous. i feel bad for the poor girl, but i would be the same. does she know lauren already met the parents? i wouldn't want to know.

jojo says you and i are on the same page. is that a question or a statement?

FINAL DATE WITH LAUREN
this could be their last date as boyfriend and girlfriend. does she remember he has another girlfriend?

lauren wants to know what ben is thinking about right now. i kind of think she might not want to know what he's thinking about right now.

my mom just walked in the room and said "i don't think it's her." i kind of agree with her. so many people think it's lauren, but i kind of don't.(edit-obviously we were both wrong)

ben keeps saying he loves lauren, but he hasn't said he is in love with her (or has he?) like he has jojo.

lauren says he is scared and terrified. from what we have seen so far, i think she has good reason to be scared. (edit-speaking of edits, they did a really good job with the edits on this episode. they totally had me thinking it was jojo)

ben tells lauren no matter what happens...it doesn't even matter what he says after that. that phrase is not good.

FINAL DATE WITH JOJO
jojo definitely got some sun in jamaica. i'm jealous. i either need some sun or a spray tan asap!

ben has become jojo's best friend. if i was her friend in real life i would be a little sad, how can he be your best friend? i'm not saying he couldn't be eventually, but right now i just don't think so.

now ben's talking about jojo being his best friend. is it because they haven't seen or talked to any of their other friends for 2 months?

what can i even say about the conversation on the bathroom floor? my heart is breaking for jojo except this is the bachelor so there is the element of competition.

even when jojo got out first i still thought it was going to be her. i am so surprised. i really hope she's the next bachelorette.

i am so happy jojo is the next bachelorette. she is going to be so fun to watch. i can't even wait.

celsey snapped me while watching and said this was the classiest after the final she's ever seen. i totally agree. everyone was so classy. the attempt to have a wedding in the last 5 minutes was a little weird,but other than that it was all really nice.
