Good News/Bad News
The good news is that after much begging the doctor cleared me to start running again. The bad news is the last time I ran was August 19. I decided to try running today, and since the Top of Utah marathon is next Saturday I decided to run 10 miles. It went so well I am going to run the marathon. Yes, I know I am crazy/insane/stupid and several other descriptors I have heard the past 2 days. I know what I am getting myself into, and I'm up for the challenge. So, if anyone wants to come to Logan next Saturday I would love to see you up there! Wish me luck!

Good Luck and let us know how it goes! I think I just hurt my IT band with only 3 wks to the St. George. I haven't run a long run for 2 wks... getting nervous. It is so crazy how so many little things can get in the way of running- I say you had a major one and kudos for still running the marathon!!
ReplyDeleteyes. Good Luck! I'm so very impressed that you are running marathons. I remember being down in the DR and walking laps around the PUCMM campus. Loads of fun!
ReplyDeleteYeah, you're nuts!
ReplyDeleteI am going to go with "crazy". But good luck. Don't be ashamed to quit if your your side busts open.
