Little Shop of Horrors

What do you do when work gives you 1 ticket to the Hale Center theater in Orem?

You get another co-worker who also got 1 ticket and go together. Anne and I saw Little Shop of Horrors the other night. It was well done and pretty entertaining but also the weirdest thing I have ever seen. Good thing it was free. Even better news we still have a $15 credit to the Hale. Looks like we'll be doing this again sometime.

We went to dinner before the show at my new favorite restaurant, The Smoking Apple, The food was yummy and we had a great time until I spilled my drink all over the floor on the way out the door. Oops!

  1. OH we miss the hale center theater. Good productions at a reasonable price. You should go next time when they do Don Quiote (sp?). It was fabulous for a small town production. Dont go if they are doing Little Women. Some books should stay books, and not become musicals.

  2. Little Shop is kinda crazy huh? I've seen it lots of times and the Hale did a nice job of it. So, you tried the Smoking Apple huh? I will put it on my list. I thought about trying it before but have never made it over. Now that I have a recommendation I'll have to do it sometime.

  3. I agree, that is a strange play, musical, whichever, but Sweeny Todd is by far the strangest! I miss you guys! I wish I could make it down there some time when you are open so I could come see you!
