wear it wednesday...my fave accessories

i love accessories! i go through phases with different types of accessories-sometimes big necklaces and sometimes big earrings. right now i really love bracelets although that's a little hard this time of year when i'm wearing long sleeves every day. winter is the perfect time for scarves so i wear those on the regular too. my other favorite accessory is kate spade stud earrings. i have about a million earrings, but i almost always wear my kate spades.

i don't know what happened, but somehow i never blogged this outfit. i also just spent 25 minutes looking for the pictures and deleting the bad ones (there were a lot). i actually wore this outfit in the spring, but it screams fall to me.

yes, these are the same pictures i posted the other day, but this post is all about the clothes. old navy has always been pretty hit or miss for me. lately i think it's more hit than miss.

i love cardigans! it's been pretty hot this summer so i had to ditch them. i am so happy to wear them again. it's also a great way to add some color.

confession to all the locals..i've never shopped bella ella (insert monkey face emoji). people talk about it all the time, and i have good intentions to go look around. it never happens..until last week.

the orem location moved inside the mall and hosted a group of bloggers for a special re-grand opening event. some of my fave bloggers were there. we shopped. we chatted. and we had a great night.

wear it wednesday...rocksbox review part 1

a few weeks ago i talked about how excited i am about rocksbox, but i didn't show you anything that came in my box. after filling out the questionnaire about what i wanted, i was excited to see what my stylist came up with. she gave me exactly what i asked for-earrings, bracelet, layering necklace. the bracelet is a leather wrap bracelet. it's cute, but i actually haven't worn it yet which pretty much means i need to send it back and trade it for something else. that's what I love about it. if I don't love something, I send it back and get something new.

the great thing about this is we can style the look with whatever fits us. i love the look, but a tucked in shirt with a pleated skirt is not a good look for me. i changed things a little while staying as close as possible to the inspiration photo

wear it wednesday...target problems

i love target! who doesn't right?!? target v neck t-shirts and boyfriend cardigans are my favorite

they're both a main staple in my wardrobe. i have a very casual dress code at work since i sit on the floor with babies and toddlers most of the day. most days i wear a v neck and cardi. they're pretty comfy and can be dressed up a little with a scarf, necklace, etc. BUT there's a problem...a total first world problem but still a problem. they don't all fit the same (insert angry face emoji) i have all of those t shirts above. i actually bought them all a couple of months ago.on the same day. the yellow seems like a completely different size even though they are all the same size. i know there are worse problems, but it's so annoying. the same happens with the cardigans. i'm the queen of the cardi. i don't really like trying things on in the store so i just buy my regular size (often in many colors) and hope for the best. lately, it's been less than the best. what a pain! am i the only one with this major first world problem?

i don't necessarily think it has to be spring/summer to wear bright colors, but spring makes me want to brighten up my wardrobe. my go to methods for adding color are cardigans, shoes, accessories.
