ever since i started running marathons, i haven't done many shorter races. i am definitely more of a distance runner, but it's fun to do a shorter race every once in a while is fun. i was really excited to have the opportunity to run the color run.
\the weather all week was pretty bad. it rained and rained and rained, and i kind of dreaded the mess of it all. i woke up early that morning to get in some extra marathon training miles. the weather was terrible-thunder, lightning, monsoon rain. a couple of hours later, the weather was absolutely perfect.

The one color run I did was during sort of a spitting rain! I was glad it wasn't pouring, but it was still kind of yucky and gross! I would love to do a Color Run with my family on a nicer day!! Love your outfit!

Gosh, I haven't done a 5k in forever, but they have a special place in my heart because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't be considering an ultra if I'd never set foot in a 5k.
