we all love beauty products right?!? it's no secret that i'm a total brand snob, but i also like trying new products. sometimes i hesitantly try something new, and sometimes i run right out to the store as soon as i hear about it.
besides skincare, the first thing i put on my face is primer so beauty battle #1 is
i know what you're thinking, and yes, i'm serious. apparently monistat chafing gel has the same ingredients as smashbox face primer for a lot less $$$. i very reluctantly tried it, and i was so impressed. i really like it a lot. i've been using it for about a year. it lasts a really long time, and feels the same on my face as other face primer.
about a month ago i bought a bare minerals kit that included their primer. i also really like it a lot. it feels very similar to the chafing gel. there really isn't a lot of difference EXCEPT the price. i'll use it because i have it. once it's gone, i will most likely go back to the grocery store brand monistat chafing gel.

I've never really used primer on my entire face, just my eyelids!
ReplyDeleteEvery time I've used primer I break out all over my face! I've been wanting to try the monistat but don't want a huge acne outbreak again lol
