spring 30x30...days 1-6

i can't believe we are already done with the first week of 30x30. it seriously flies by so fast. i'm posting a day early to make room for WWYD...with a dozen eggs? tomorrow.
i'm doing 30x30 a little differently this time. instead of picking 30 items for 30 days i am wearing blue for 30 days for autism awareness month. since the whole point is to spread awareness, i want to share a little about autism each week.
here are some of the common "red flags" for autism from autismspeaks.org
  • No big smiles or other warm, joyful expressions by six months or thereafter
  • No back-and-forth sharing of sounds, smiles or other facial expressions by nine months
  • No babbling by 12 months
  • No back-and-forth gestures such as pointing, showing, reaching or waving by 12 months
  • No words by 16 months
  • No meaningful, two-word phrases (not including imitating or repeating) by 24 months
  • Any loss of speech, babbling or social skills at any age
if your child demonstrates these symptoms, talk to your doctor about your concerns.

  3. I never thought of a chambray shirt as blue, but it is! I love all of these outfits, esp. the dressier one for your presentation at the DR's office and Day 1, because it looks so comfy yet professional! I really need a leopard scarf... I have the shoes, the belt... just not the scarf ;)

  4. Hi Aubrey nice to meet you. Thanks for visiting & commenting on my blog. You have great looks, and I love the leopard scarf. I also love that you are bringing awareness for autism. My nephew has autism and I used to work with a lot of awesome kids who had autism, so it is very dear to my heart. Good job to you for shining the light on autism.
